Tony`s Pizza - New York Style in Saint Augustine Beach

This place is great. It is small but even as carryout it is great. The pizza is delicious. Service is good. The owner is a nice guy.

Ordered large cheese pizza for pickup after getting home the crust had a funky flavor like cardboard big waste of money.. Should have checked reviews before ordering because there are similar reviews stating the crust tasted like the cardboard box or frost bitten.. Called to comlplain and was left with apologies they didn't even offer to make another one but I wouldn't have wanted another pizza that tasted like that ever again.. Lesson learned

I am a local and have tried many pizza places in St. Augustine...Tony's by far is my New #1 pizza place...the meat lovers was so delicious and we had their chicken parm and meatball subs..wow...from one business owner to another...you guys got skill!!! Big Fan!

We are in the St. Augustine area on vacation and thought we would try out this place, believe me it was a bad idea. We ordered around 6pm and was told to give them 25 to 30 minutes. We arrived around that time and had to wait an additional 5 to 6 minutes for our food. We drove the 5 minutes back to our vacation rental sat down to eat and the mozzarella cheese sticks were cold and tasted bad. The super supreme pizza was also cold and the dough tasted like cardboard. Substandard pizza at best. I have made better pizza at home using pilsbury crust. The ham, salami, and cheese calzone was the only saving grace. The muslim writings and prayers to allah were a big turn off for me. I definitely do not recommend this place.

I jusr went here for the first time and will be back. The vegetable pizza was excellent and the owner is a sweetheart.

Waaaaay over priced! Not an ounce of salt on anything and the italian dressing was basically just vinegar. Took an hour for pick and at $23 for a medium veggie? Never again.

Best pizza on planet and best Personality highly recommended and this is not first time.

Pretty good pizza. (for Florida). I don't get the plywood over the entrance door. It must keep a lot of customers away. Give it a try. Better than all the chain pizza.

We ordered carry out sub sandwiches and they were so good! Also tried their homemade baklava. Service was fast and friendly. I'd stop by again next time we're in the area.

Best pizza I've had

Delicious pizza. Their sauce and cheese really make it unique. Pretty expensive for pizza, but it is good. Couple tables for dine-in, but seems like more of carryout place.

My favorite pizza in all of St Augustine ! This restaurant has been open for over 30 years & they do not disappoint upholding legacy. Pizza is made fresh with good ingredients everyday. The family in charge is wonderful, you can really taste the love they put into each pie. Environment has a nice relaxed feeling to it as well. I recommend everyone give the place a try, you will not regret it !

Order pepperoni pizza and pepperoni & salami calzone. My kids and I loved! Pizza was good cold next day, but the calzone was better reheated than cold. The delivery was as quick as promised, and the driver was very nice. Will order again when I am back in town.

I'm not a fan of this pizza. The toppings while plentiful, were greasy and bland and the sauce tasted stale, like it had been stored in a tin can. The crust is very soggy in the center, and the dough tasted like they buy it ready to bake, instead of freshly made. The dough has a very uniform look to it, so I'm pretty sure they just pull it from the freezer. Now that I think about it, I had excellent pizza when I was last in New York and it was nothing like this.

Good late night food but I was a little disappointed by the pizza. The pizza sauce was not very flavorful and the crust was just average. But at 1 AM it hit the spot.

The food is amazing. The atmosphere is unbeatable. The service is wonderful. You truly feel the love in the food .and you leave feeling like part of the family .

Not a fan. Unfortunately this is the only place that delivers to my address so we are on occasion forced to do so on those lazy cooking nights and hopefully they answer the phone. Sometimes we call and it just rings busy signal for hours and never get through. My husband is a fan so we split the difference on the stars. We ordered the wing appetizer and they were over baked to the point of being stuck to the foil tin they come in. The pizza is ehh at best. I feel like theirs something weird about the cheese they use and i don't care for how they season it. My husband however likes the pizza so either he'll eat anything or my taste buds are completely off. So now i go for the subs when we order. The Italian sub is the best thing on the menu in my opinion but how can you really mess up a sub although i still think the cheese is kinda weird. Maybe I'm just weird who knows. So definitely not on my favorites list but will do if need be.

Good quality American style food with halal meat

The pizza was awful! The cheese tastes old and is slimy & mushy. The sausage on the pizza was also VERY mushy and had no flavor. The garlic knots were completely burnt on the bottom. The sauce was terrible. Additionally, the cost was very high for a very low quality. Almost 75% of our $30 pizza ended up in the trash. Very disappointing! I wish I could post a picture of the solid black bottom of the whole dozen garlic knots and the soggy pizza.

Recently vacationed in the area with my family of 9. We stopped here before taking the kids to the beach. Everything was fresh and yummy. The steak and onion calzones were delicious and huge and the garlic knots were to die for. Next time we visit the area we will for sure be back for more awesome pizza!!

Tony's killed it, I mean wow was that really good pizza. My toddler and 4 year old almost ate a whole pizza by themselves. They do pizza and calzones wings but the greek salad was fantastic!!!! This allows them to make them to near perfection. The only place in the states that it was that good is a place in NYC. The crust was thin and had a nice char to it with a wonderful flavor to eat. Fresh and yeasty. Homemade sauce made from high quality tomatoes and a wonderful balance of cheese. The kids had a pepperoni pizza with very high quality meat that crisped up just perfectly. We had the supreme with and meatballs. We spoke with the chef for a minute and you could just tell that he has passion for food and won't compromise for the bottom line. The service was top notch and very attentive. Our drinks never went empty and we felt they were happy to serve us.thanks again TONYS Pizza! Must stop by and try there pizza when u visit St.Augustine!

I was so pleased with this place that I had to come on here and post my first review ever. I must say service was warm and welcoming, pizza was ready in a timely manner, and it was probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The fact they had a halal option was a HUGE plus!
